  6. This is a 'no changes' port of the X11 version with my libX11:

  8. DESCRIPTION
  9.        XaoS  is  a  real-time interactive fractal zoomer for DOS,
  10.        Plan9, X11 and SVGAlib but it can be easily ported to  all
  11.        architectures where graphics library and _GOOD_ optimizing
  12.        ANSI c compiler (i.e. gcc) is available.  It displays  the
  13.        Mandelbrot  set  (among  other  escape  time fractals) and
  14.        allows you zoom smoothly into the fractal.  Various color-
  15.        ing modes are provided for both the points inside and out-
  16.        side the selected  set.  In  addition,  switching  between
  17.        Julia  and  Mandelbrot fractal types and displaying planes
  18.        is provided. The first version was a poorly  written  Man-
  19.        delbrot  view  by  Thomas later modified by Jan to support
  20.        high frame-rate zooming. Other additions were  later  made
  21.        including  autopilot  (for  those  of  you without drivers
  22.        licenses),  palette  changing,  GIF  saving,  and  fractal
  23.        inversion.  More informations should be obtained by press-
